J. Emory Wood

Mr. Wood is a native of LaGrange, GA. He was admitted to the Florida Bar, 1979 and the U.S. District Court,Middle District of Florida. He has practiced Personal Injury and Personal Injury Defense exclusively in the Tampa Bay Area since 1981 and has tried personal injury jury trials in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Lee, Hendry, Hernando, Pasco, Citrus counties and in Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Pensacola and Arcadia.

Mr. Wood is Board Certified in Civil Trial Practice by the Florida Bar and the National Institute of Trial Practice. He is the Former Chairman of Sixth Judicial Nominating Committee and currently sits on the Second District Court of Appeal Nominating Committee.

Emory is married to Margaret Crist Wood and has 3 grown children.
